Music Ministry

A crucifix with a G clef symbol

The Choir consists of members of the parish community united in offering their talents to praise God in song, and to help the whole community with worship with both ears and voices. All are welcome to join. Rehearsals are held weekly from September through June and are listed in the bulletin.

Children's Choirs, grades 3-8. Children are trained to use their voices in praise of God, in music both old and new. The Junior Choir sings at the 9:00 AM Sunday liturgy. The Polish Children's Choir sings occasionally at the 11 :00 AM Polish language Mass.

Combined Choirs, both children and adult choirs combine for major feasts, bi-lingual Masses and special events. Details will be announced in the bulletin.

Cantors greet the people, help the organist in leading the people's song and proclaim the psalms at the liturgies. They are recruited and trained by the Directors of Music.

Instrumentalists are invited to add their talents to the music at Mass, either alone or in combination with the choirs and/or other players. Several times a year, our parish "orchestra" plays together for special events. Players of all ages and all levels of ability are welcome.

VIRTUAL CHOIR

All are welcome to attend our 35 minute virtual choir rehearsals.
You can sing along with me at home; we’ll go over music for the upcoming Sunday and liturgical season. We can’t sit or sing together at Sunday Masses, but whether you sit in your (socially distanced) pew or on your couch at home, you’ll be prepared to join in the song!
It is an unfortunate reality that we will not be able to sing together in person, as a real choir, at any time in the near future, perhaps even for a whole year. We will have to follow the science and both government and archdiocesan rules. However, that does not mean we can’t sing together in the Spirit!

Polish Choir Mondays at 7:30pm
Junior Choir Wednesdays at 7:30pm
Adult English Choir Thursdays at 7:30pm
Please check the bulletin for updates and schedule changes.
